Summer 2022 Newsletter
Health and Safety
We hope everyone continues to remain healthy and safe. The health crisis is coming to an end, and it is good to see the people getting back together. Hurricane season is coming so don’t forget to make your preparations.
Annual HOA Meeting
This year’s guest at the HOA Annual meeting was the Orange County Permitting and Code Enforcement officer. She provided information on the some of the requirements for permits and neighborhood upkeep requirements. Attending the Annual HOA Meeting can keep you up to speed!
Neighborhood Updates
The board had some minor entrance updates that included fresh mulch and seasonal plantings. Our budget will allow for some replacement vegetation and plantings that had declined and were removed. Unfortunately, some of the large Spring Hollow entrance trees have declined and are subject to heavy pruning or removal. We have an arborist currently reviewing our options.
Our most recent Neighborhood Gathering was Saturday, April 23, once again on the corner of Spring Hollow & Jaymara at Tract A. The weather was great, we had light snacks, and enjoyed spending time with our neighbors. With enough interest, the board is considering both a spring and fall session. Please let us know your thoughts about a fall get-together!
Neighborhood maintenance
Just a reminder of your reasonable property upkeep, overall there are very few issues and some significant upgrades however the board has found untagged vehicles and unsightly vegetation that prompt the need for reminders.
School Fall Season
Orange County Public School returns on Wednesday August 8th. Watch out for the children and crossing guards protecting them. The new Kelly Park school located on Jason Dwelley Pkwy just south of Kelly Park Road will open as well.
