We’d like to take this opportunity to present a new option to join a community Decoration Committee. If any resident would like to participate in these events around the holidays, please email Carrie Ricotta (carriericotta@msn.com) or contact any of our board members listed to the right.
Orange County advises that although we were on the list for pressure washing/cleaning during the July/August timeframe, other priorities for the division that handles wall maintenance arose, and we are still “on the list”. They are unable to advise a new estimated timeframe for completion. The Board will continue to monitor and advise when new information is provided.
The board recognizes that there are some maintenance items that will need to be addressed in budget year 2025. The well that is utilized for sustaining the landscaping at the front entrance is experiencing issues. We’re working on getting repair estimates, but the well is old so it’s prudent to plan for replacement if that becomes necessary.
Repairs to the irrigation are needed and quotes are being reviewed by the board. New fencing will be installed to extend the white fence on the south side of the main entrance to mirror the existing white fence on the north side of the main entrance. Seasonal poinsettias and new message boards will then complete the revival of the front entrance areas.
The front entrances incurred some damage to the entrance lights and the sprinkler heads in early May. Our HOA President, Roger Smith, has repaired the Westford Dr. entrance and should have the Spring Hollow Blvd. entrance completed within the next few days.
