2024 Annual HOA Meeting
The annual meeting for 2024 will once again be held Tuesday, January 30, 2024 at 7:00 PM at the Fran Carlton Center located at 11 N. Forest Ave in Apopka. Please plan to attend. Meet your neighbors. Share your thoughts and recommendations. Participate in opportunities to enhance our community and submit your votes for a 2024 HOA Board and annual budget.
2024 Annual Dues
The 2024 Annual Homeowners Association dues will increase to $330.00. As noted in the annual meeting earlier this year and the Mid 2023 Newsletter distributed in July, an increase in 2023 was deferred to assist residents dealing with last summer’s storm damage. Invoices for 2024’s dues should be expected to start arriving in November 2023. Please also remember that paying your dues is a legally binding requirement and interest on any unpaid dues can accrue. Partial payments can also be arranged and accepted. Contact any board member for more information.
Our New Website
We’re in the design phase of a new website dedicated to our Homeowners Association and all residents of Spring Hollow Estates.
The website will include all communications, bylaws, links to community info, as well as the incorporation of a private message board that will be moderated. Future considerations can also provide links for annual dues payment processing and the submission of the ACC forms and approvals.
Please take advantage of the opportunity to preview the site now at springhollow.org
Feedback from our residents is welcome and encouraged. Come to the Annual Meeting and share your thoughts!
Also please note that the payment links shown on the website, as well as the communication links, are not yet active as we’re still in the design phase.
Neighborhood Updates
You’ve most likely noticed some changes at the front entrances. The declining trees have been removed and replaced to enhance the appeal of the areas, along with fresh mulch.
Repairs to the irrigation are needed and quotes are being reviewed by the board. New fencing will be installed to extend the white fence on the south side of the main entrance to mirror the existing white fence on the north side of the main entrance. Seasonal poinsettias and new message boards will then complete the revival of the front entrance areas.
The Board has been notified by Orange County that the cleaning of the entrance walls is “on their list”.
The Yield Signs within our neighborhood were replaced by Stop Signs, courtesy of Orange County. We did not request this change nor were we notified about it in advance, although extra safety never hurts! Speaking of extra safety, please adhere to the 25 mph posted speed limit within the subdivision. Just slow down.
Also noted throughout the Apopka area are “Bear Awareness” courtesy signs discussing the law regarding our responsibility to keep garbage and other attractants secure from the bears in the area. Our residents should always be encouraged to do their part to keep the bears safe, as well as our homes and pets. Secure your garbage containers, keep your garage doors closed, and keep your pets on a leash.
