Important Neighborhood News & Updates
The Community Garage Sale will be held the weekend of October 17th thru the 19th. If you plan to participate and would like the board to pay your permit fee, please notify the board of your desire to participate no later than October 1st. You’re welcome to pay your own permit fee at the higher rate if you miss that October 1st deadline. We do appreciate those that have already advised of their participation.
Front Entrance Wall – Update – Orange County advises that although we were on the list for pressure washing/cleaning during the July/August timeframe, other priorities for the division that handles wall maintenance arose, and we are still “on the list”. They are unable to advise a new estimated timeframe for completion. The Board will continue to monitor and advise when new information is provided.
Front Entrance Maintenance – The Board has made significant progress with the improvements and appearance of the front entrances with plantings, mulching, and general cleanup. We have additional improvements scheduled to be completed before the end of the year.
Upcoming Annual Community Meeting – The tentative date for the Annual Meeting is Tuesday, February 3, 2026. Based on the success and participation of the last event, we will once again attempt to schedule The Back Room location. The Board will publish and distribute the plan once the arrangements are confirmed but now is the time to save the date! J
Declarations and Covenants & Orange County Code
Vehicles – Orange County Restriction – It is unlawful for commercial vehicles, trailers, tractors, vans, etc. with a greater than one-ton rated capacity to be parked on any property and visible from any lot whose primary use is residential. We certainly understand the need to have a “work vehicle with a commercial logo” at your home, but to avoid a fine – please park it in your garage or behind a fence where it cannot be seen. It’s prohibited to perform vehicle and equipment repairs in a visible driveway. Unregistered vehicles are also restricted.
Excessive Speed – The posted speed limit within the Spring Hollow Estates subdivision is 25 mph for all roads within the subdivision. Please adhere to those speed limits for the safety of the community and to eliminate future complaints and the need to take action. It’s pretty easy to slow down. Enjoy our beautiful neighborhood with a nice, leisurely drive through it. J
Outbuildings – Spring Hollow Declaration and Covenants – No building shall be erected upon any lot without prior approval thereof by the ACC. Plans and specifications must be submitted to the ACC in advance of any construction. Out buildings shall be limited to one per lot, and shall comply with County and zoning requirements, and must meet the approval of the ACC.
ACC forms
These forms are not optional. If you are planning an addition or changes to the outside of your property, fill out the ACC approval form. If you need additional information or need a copy of the form, please contact any board member or visit the website – springhollow.org/links
